Bite size teachings across 30 years.

For 30 years t.k. has offered radical spiritual teachings on the divine nature of non-dual contemplation and realization. Enlightened mind here and now, born from this culture, addressing the issues of this time and place t.k. offers transmission through countless forms - words being one of them. Here are some short pieces from his teachings over the last 30 years.

ants birds and dzogchen

In spiritual life the ant's way is to assiduously follow the gradual, winding path. The way of the bird is to fly directly to the goal. Humorously the way of the ant also includes the fact that ants, when told this, tend to assume they are birds. Ants fixate conceptually on the fast, simple, easy because their minds are complicated. Birds tend not to care if the path is fast or slow but simply do what needs to be done without such conceptual dichotomies. Most of us are ants and this explains a lot about the current popularity of dzogchen. - t.k. quoted from a public teaching on dzogchen

"Although one might speak in terms of spiritual unknowing and enlightened awareness they appear as a duality only to the dichotomizing intellect. In the understanding of the highest this duality does not exist." Padmasambhava, Nyida Obar
