Awareness does not care about evolutionary spiritual momentums.
It is exactly the realization of divine nothingness beyond identity or Being that is spiritual fullness. This knowing extinguishes the confusions of ego - body/world/appearance are then held within, and as, and of that Love which is nothingness' radiance. The sage has nothing, wants nothing and is nothing and this great freedom is the stronghold of stainless Love. Until you realize this as body and world remain restless, do not settle for intellectual conceits or shallow consolations.- t.k.
An empty room and midnight's moon shines through the broken windows. This old body, crippled, and inside my shirt the whole vast sky and all the stars. - t.k. from 'talks in an empty room at midnight.'
While it seems true to you that you have an identity- body, world, Being -it is, quite simply, untrue. All forms of identity are simply process structures arisen from a small misunderstanding about the relationship between the expanse of nothingness and its inherent luminosity. When understood correctly knowingness is void of identity and thereby freed from the burden of Being - individual or universal. - t.k.
If you remove the past and the future then it seems like you would be left with the 'Now'. But this is merely an intellectual seeming because the reality is much more mysterious. When past and future are dropped the "Now' also disappears and what is left is unutterable profundity beyond time references and most definitely beyond what might be termed a 'Now', a 'self' or 'no-self' or 'Being' or 'non-being'. - t.k. from 'Talks going beyond intellectualism.'
Awareness does not care about evolutionary spiritual momentums. There is no glorious direction humanity is now moving toward, no emerging paradigm. Things are pretty much as they have always been. But then, in the simplicity and beautiful silence of the divine, there is no need for appearance to ceaselessly be striving to prove itself in accord with depressed human's consumerist need for convincing that it is all worthwhile. - t.k.
