Do you ever find that Interpreting the interpretless place Interferes with it?
Do you ever find that Interpreting the interpretless place
Interferes with it?
In a word – no. Why? in several more words ……..
The mind imbued with and inhering in and as Silence is an interplay between an irreducible purity, untouchable by interpretation, and an irrepressible spontaneity given to expressive playfulness. Irreducible purity (kadag) and irrepressible spontaneity (lhundrup) in the intimacy of their not-two union give birth to the impish child called appearance. (Ngo-bo → Rangzhin → Thugsje)
Irreducible purity can never be grasped by concept, language. How can that which is beyond the pair of words Is and Is Not ever be captured by a language-ing that depends entirely on the verb To Be. When the verb To Be is removed then the house of cards called language falls. And still ………
Appearance itself emerges from, without ever leaving, that expanse of mysterious irreducible openness - and does so without fracturing, distorting or interrupting irreducible openness. Appearance appears and yet is empty - emptiness is empty and yet appearance appears. Appearance/emptiness - particle and wave.
This openness itself is not a ‘mere nothingness’. Rather, it is a plenum of irrepressible spontaneity ceaselessly giving expression to its ownmost fullness…. openness expressiveness complementarity in not twoness.
The human mind resolved in the Silence of irreducible openness also participates in this expressiveness. Such a mind, abiding in Silence and mystery, untouchable by reduction to this or that, is utterly filled by irrepressible joy giving birth to tenderhearted affection. Love in turn evolves into compassion. All of this - without ever confusing expression with capturing the wholeness-openness-nothingness.
Just as irreducible purity’s spontaneous irrepressible expressiveness - as all appearing - does not interfere with openness’ openness. - From the birthless appearance is born without ever leaving the brithless! How wondrous, how marvelous. - These words emerging from Silence emerge without leaving or interfering. and, quite importantly, without ever imagining they somehow capture the wholeness of that divine and mysterious reality …. they just express it in simple playful joy not ever confusing word with thing or thinglessness.
