Bite size teachings across 30 years.

For 30 years t.k. has offered radical spiritual teachings on the divine nature of non-dual contemplation and realization. Enlightened mind here and now, born from this culture, addressing the issues of this time and place t.k. offers transmission through countless forms - words being one of them. Here are some short pieces from his teachings over the last 30 years.

realizing the luminous essence

Training in the path does not change the way things are, they need no changing. Training in the path removes the confused perception which perceives appearances in deluded fashion.

Without realizing the luminous essence one will always remain confused, and enacting confusion, about and within the realms of delusion. Realizing the luminous essence one also realizes the magical activity – of appearances inseparable from divinity. This is called Realizing the One Thing which Realizes All.

Bring a demented mind, which perceives loved ones as monsters, back to health does not change the nature of the loved ones. They were just fine to begin with. It only reverses the confusion which sees loved ones as monsters.

The ground of unborn wisdom awareness, and its playful frolicking of appearances, is comprised of loved ones only. Appearances are divine inherently, sentient beings are only Buddhas . The awakened mind lives this knowing in the pervasive steadiness of bliss, the confused mind lives it’s non-knowing in unsteadiness and sufferings.

The path does not go somewhere else, the path does not accomplish some extraordinary newness, the path does not seek something other than the natural inherent actual state of things. But …… if a demented person’s mind remains in insanity then they suffer terribly despite the actuality of their being surrounded by loved ones.

In the causal vehicle of characteristics sentient beings are the causes of Buddhas but in the resultant vehicle of Tantra, Mantra and Dzogchen mind itself is Buddha - right from the start. Still, to prattle such words without realizing the meaning, is just another strategy of suffering in its endless confusion between masquerade games and realization.

Without realizing the luminous essence one will always remain confused, and enacting confusion, about and within the realms of delusion. Realizing the luminous essence one also realizes the magical activity – of appearances inseparable from divinity.
